PROJETO | GAGA A POIRET

Dear Lady Gaga,

I'm a art director from Brazil and I made something for you. Last semester, I did a project in my Fashion History class about you and Poiret. We had to creat a garment based on some designer or design or concept. Then I start thinking that I could do much more inspired by this image, a Poiret dress drawn by Georges Lepape. So I created for the ultimate world's fashion icon - YOU - a empire dress for to use on a presetation. It has a different concept than most of your looks. This dress is simple, very greek, minimal. To "match" the dress, I created the concept of your stage based on this greek-minimal idea.

I called it: The Screen Dress. It's a huge dress that you'll have to be hanged very high. During the song, images can be displayed on it. As you can see, the dress will cover a column. Inside the dress, dancer can perform as a chinese shadow theater. And in the end, the wrap skirt could be opened to show the whole image.

Este é um projeto que desenvolvi na cadeira de História da Moda, onde eu precisava criar um produto inspirado em um conceito, ou estilista ou produto. Eu escolhi o trabalho do estilista francês Paul Poiret e para vesti-lo, Lady Gaga. O produto criado foi o Vestido Tela de Projeção. Com 3 funções específicas, o vestido pode ser usado para projetar imagens pequenas, fazer um Teatro de Sombras Chinês ou até projetar imagens maiores, enquanto Gaga canta suspensa a metros do chão. O que acharam? Posso trabalhar na Haus of Gaga.
